The Oil of Miracles

In Hebrew, there are three words for "Oil"

1. Shemen

2. Yitzhar

3. Meshach

1, Shemen

BEAUTY FOR ASHES MINISTRY

EXODUS 30:23-24 NLT

"Collect choice spices-

• 12-1/2 pounds of pure myrrh,

• 6-1/4 pounds of fragrant cinnamon,

• 6-1/4 pounds of fragrant calamus, and

• 12-1/2 pounds of cassia-as measured by the weight of the sanctuary shekel.

Also get one gallon of OLIVE OIL.

All these are expensive ingredients to make this anointing oil.

EXODUS 30:25 NLT

Like a skilled incense maker, BLEND these INGREDIENTS to make a holy ANOINTING OIL.

MIX all these things like a perfume to make a holy olive oil.

This special oil must be put on people and things.

Do this to make them ready for service to God.

People, make them ready for the Lord

Not use our own oil (own ability)

We use His oil, we will not burn out

LUKE 4:18 NLT

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has ANOINTED me TO bring Good News to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,

First thing He wants to anoint His people to bring good news!

What is good news?

Good news is to arise! Arise from depression! Jesus has overcame!

Anointing destroy the yoke!

The one with anointing, the person is set free!

The one without anointing with the same word, the person is not set free.

Anyone without Christ, some after receiving Christ, still don’t know how to come out.

Spiritual prison

Go to set them free!

Set free to know the love of Jesus

This is where the Latin word for 'SEED' gets its name - semen.

In Hebrew this word for "OIL" therefore has a hidden meaning connected to:

"PLANTING, BIRTH, MULTIPLICATION".

Holy Spirit anointing

God prepare us to be a Warrior not a worrier

See how powerful is inside the oil.

But, as in any seed, there must be death before life, hiddenness before coming out into the light.

Seed needs to die than new lives can come forth.

Jesus gave up His right as a Son of God to come down so that we can be His children of God.

We can give up our right to use our money and let Him tell us how to use

There is a price to pay for the anointing.

She always asked the people do you want to pay the price?

What does it cost you? Laying down your life!

If they are not ready, pride will crush them

Shemen is used to mean one type of oil - OLIVE OIL, including the olive, olive tree and its products.

Olive oil is a liquid fat obtained by PRESSING whole olives, the fruit of the olive tree (Olea europaea).

A fruit is the SEED-BEARING organ of a PLANT, which usually develops from the ovary or flower.

Olives have a hard pit or stone, which contains the SEED for FUTURE olive trees.

Always see future. Don’t be so short-sighted.

The new spirit man can see very far.

Time came in when God set day and night.

God live outside this time. This is only for earth

It is this word in the Hebrew which is used when the dove returns to Noah's Ark with an "olive" (shemen) branch.

The LORD is making it clear that He will RE-SEED, or RE-MULTIPLY the earth after the flood;

• by the use of the Hebraic meaning of the very branch the dove brought back to the tiny remnant of mankind.

Shemen is also used for medicine.

In Ezekiel the leaves of the olive tree are used for healing (Ezekiel 47.12).

Lastly, it is used for both light, and for offerings to worship and honour the LORD.

LEVITICUS 24:2 KJV

Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive BEATEN for the LIGHT, to CAUSE the lamps to BURN CONTINUALLY.

When we go through hardship, it is for us to become brighter and not bitter

Shine from inside.

We want our light to shine from inside.

Jesus, not our own.

Inside light will burn bright forever

MARK 6:13 NLT

And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil.

This is before Jesus went for the cross.

Jesus is the oil! The Anointed One.

We don’t need the olive oil.

The anointing is Christ ! Is Christ already. It is not physical.

MARK 16:17 NLT

These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe:

They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.

2. Yitzhar:

The second Hebrew word for oil also means "Olive Oil".

It also means to "anoint" and is used as a name, which literally means "shining one."

If you are anointed with olive oil you will SHINE.

3. MESHACH :

The third Hebrew word for oil means: "olive oil" and is used for lamp oil, food and again for offerings to worship and honour the LORD.

How does the Oil of Miracles happen for you?

1 KINGS 17:5-7 NLT

So Elijah did as the Lord told him and camped beside Kerith Brook, east of the Jordan.

The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook.

But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land.

Faith is always acting first before you see what God says will happen

Whatever He tells, we do first

1 KINGS 17:10 NLT

So he went to Zarephath.

As he arrived at the gates of the village, he saw a widow gathering sticks, and he asked her, "Would you please bring me a little water in a cup?"

1 KINGS 17:12 NLT

But she said, "I swear by the Lord your God that I don't have a single piece of bread in the house.

And I have ONLY a HANDFUL of flour left in the jar and a LITTLE cooking OIL in the bottom of the jug.

I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal, and then my son and I will die."

1 KINGS 17:13 NLT

But Elijah said to her, "Don't be afraid!

Go ahead and do just what you've said, but make a little bread for me FIRST.

Then use what's left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son.

We must hear what God said. Written Word and what God said.

Give and you will receive.

Sow. Plant the seed.

Sow to the one who teaches you.

1 KINGS 17:14 NLT

For THIS is WHAT the LORD, the GOD of ISRAEL says:

There will ALWAYS be flour and OLIVE OIL (shemen) left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!"

1 KINGS 17:15-16 NLT

So she DID as ELIJAH SAID, and

• she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days.

There was ALWAYS ENOUGH flour and olive oil (shemen) left in the containers,

• JUST AS the LORD had PROMISED through Elijah.

People have the heart of Christ inside them. The holy spirit will touch them

Miracle oil!

2 KINGS 4:1 EASY

There was a woman whose husband belonged to the group of prophets.

When her husband died, she CALLED OUT to ELISHA for HELP.

She said, 'Your servant, my husband, is dead.

He served the Lord faithfully.

My husband was in DEBT to a certain man.

Now that man wants to take my two children to be his slaves!'

2 KINGS 4:2 EASY

Elisha SAID to her,

'How can I help you?

TELL ME, WHAT THINGS do you HAVE in your house?' She said to Elisha, 'Please sir, I have nothing in the house.

All I have is a SMALL JAR of OLIVE Oil (shemen).'

2 KINGS 4:3 ICB

Then Elisha said, "Go and get empty jars from all your neighbors.

Don't ask for just a few.

2 KINGS 4:4 ICB

Then you must go into your house and close the door.

Only you and your sons will be there.

Then POUR OIL (shemen) into all the jars.

Set the full ones to one side."

2 KINGS 4:5 ICB

She left Elisha and shut the door.

Only she and her sons were in the house.

As they brought the jars to her, she POURED the OIL.

Shut the door- don’t listen to outside, or your flesh talks

As she began to pour, the jar filled up

2 KINGS 4:6 ICB

When the jars were all full, she said to her son,

"Bring me another jar."

But he said, "There are no more jars."

THEN the OIL (shemen) STOPPED FLOWING.

It is about Provision

What about provision now?

2 KINGS 4:7 ICB

She went and told Elisha.

Elisha said to her,

"Go.

Sell the oil and pay what you owe.

You and your sons can live on what is left."

There was abundance.

PROVERBS 11:25 TPT

Those who LIVE to BLESS OTHERS

• will have blessings heaped upon them,

• and the one who POURS OUT his life to POUR OUT BLESSINGS

• will be saturated with FAVOR.

Vessels are people. Container made of clay. As many people as you can, go and bless them.

When you keep on giving to another life, your anointing continues. When you stop, the anointing stopped.

Pour out your life.

Instead of looking at the little you have.

You just give and bless.

Who to bless?

1. Men of God

2. your brothers and sisters (household of faith)

Honor God first.

As you begin to give, it keeps flowing.

Our lives are to be poured out.

When we pour out, the miracle happens

2 CHRONICLES 20:14-17 MSG

Then Jahaziel was moved by the SPIRIT of GOD to SPEAK

from the midst of the congregation.

(Jahaziel was the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah the Levite of the Asaph clan.)

He said, "ATTENTION EVERYONE -

• ALL of you from out of town,

• ALL you from Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat—

GOD'S WORD:

• Don't be afraid;

• don't pay any mind to this vandal horde.

This is God's war, not yours.

There was a battle. The enemy was attacking Israel.

2 CHRONICLES 20:14-17 MSG

Tomorrow you'll go after them; see, they're already on their way up the slopes of Ziz;

you'll meet them at the end of the ravine near the wilderness of Jeruel.

You won't have to lift a hand in this battle;

• just STAND FIRM, Judah and Jerusalem,

• and watch GOD'S SAVING WORK for you take shape.

• Don't be afraid, DON'T WAVER.

• March out boldly tomorrow-GOD is WITH YOU."

2 CHRONICLES 20:18-19 MSG

Then Jehoshaphat knelt down, bowing with his face to the ground.

ALL Judah and Jerusalem did the same, worshiping God.

The Levites (both Kohathites and Korahites) stood to their feet to

PRAISE GOD, the God of Israel; they PRAISED at the TOP of their LUNGS!

2 CHRONICLES 20:20 MSG

They were up EARLY in the morning, READY to MARCH into the wilderness of Tekoa.

As they were leaving, Jehoshaphat stood up and said,

"LISTEN Judah and Jerusalem!

LISTEN to WHAT I HAVE to SAY!

• BELIEVE FIRMLY in GOD, YOUR GOD, and your lives will be firm! (secure)

• BELIEVE in YOUR PROPHETS and you'll come out on top!" (succeed)

It must be God.

You want to succeed, who are we to believe?

True prophets, not the false ones

True prophets will tell you what the Word said

What to do must be in line with God’s Word

Led by the spirit means to obey

Oil - Shemen > seed

In Hebrew this word for "OIL"

• hidden meaning connected to:

PLANTING, BIRTH, MULTIPLICATION".

• JESUS is the anointing oil that HOLY SPIRIT is pouring into our lives.

• Our finances are seeds

• Oil of Miracles

• plant into His kingdom

• multiplication

• bountiful harvest!

As long as we keep HONORING GOD and POURING OUT to others,

Pouring to God. Honouring Him and pouring out to others
