HSPF 07 - Session 4

Open Heavens

The first time the word Oil is used in the scriptures. It is in Genesis 28 - the well-known account of Jacob’s Dream.

Jacob left Beersheba and journeyed toward Haran.

The Jewish people were chosen to represent God.

The first-born inherit blessings

The new creation, the first new creation is Jesus. He inherited everything that God has.

Jacob was a deceiver. He knew he cannot be the one to receive because he is not the first born.

He conned to receive the blessing

Genesis 28:11 TPT

He encountered a CERTAIN PLACE at sunset and CAMPED there for the night.

Bethel - house of God

Jacob had a new revelation.

In Jacob’s helpless, lonely condition, a new revelation would be given to him.

Very few people like lonely situation

We tend to find solution in men.

God called Jacob alone and blessed him.

Don’t fear loneliness.

When we have the Lord, we are not lonely

Genesis 28:11 TPT

He took a STONE from there, made it his PILLOW, and lay down to sleep

Why people cannot sleep? They are sleeping on the wrong pillow.

Jesus is the Anointed Stone. We rest on Christ.

Research said you have 60,000 thoughts go through everyday.

That is why we are emotional.

Go to the Word.

We can get from Teaching, most important is our own daily one

The bible is like the WhatsApp you have. From your loved ones. They send you a message.

See the Word of God as God speaking to you.

When you open the bible, pray, “Speak to me Lord. “

David used stone to kill Goliath.

Here it means Jesus, the Anointed One

GENESIS 28:12 TPT

He had a DREAM of a STAIRWAY securely fixed on the EARTH and reaching into HEAVEN.

And there were messengers of God ascending and descending on the stairway.

28:12 Dreams are a valid form of divine communication in the Bible. God frequently spoke to people through dreams. See Gen. 41:1-7; Judg. 7:13-15; 1 Kings 3:5-14; Dan. 2:28; Matt. 2:12-13; 27:19. On the Day of Pentecost, Peter quoted the promise of Joel that those who received the Spirit would

"experience dreams" (Acts

2:17; see Joel 2:28).

Dreams are subconscious

It can even be more real.

Receive more! During a fast, people receive dreams as well.

These dreams are very real. Most of it are prophetic dreams

From every Word, you can receive revelation

Those who receive the spirit will experience dreams!

There will be prophesy, dreams and visions

Where are your true riches found?

Keep your treasures up in heaven, where they are not destroyed

Jesus is both God and Man

Jesus is the only valid entry into the spiritual realm, the true way!

You are seated in heavenly places with Jesus

Spirit man also has 5 senses

You are born from above

You are seated there.

Spirit activated into the spiritual realm

The bible tells us who we are.

We are a spirit

Spirit supposed to rule and take charge.

If people, they were intercessor

The angels were the overseers of the churches

Overcomers, God will give them a place

3 angels described as 3 men

Sometimes God send people, there are there to bless you

God uses people to bless you back when you bless them.

We love people.

Sincerely help people and love them!

GENESIS 28:13 TPT

And Yahweh stood beside him and said to him, "I AM YAHWEH, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac.

You are lying on the very ground that I will give to you and your descendants.

When God wants to give it to you, and He wants to !

We are God’s children from above.

The God of Abraham is very great

Very important is the revelation

You fear nothing because Yahweh is my God

It is not what you know, it is Who you know

GENESIS 28:13 TPT

And Yahweh stood beside him and said to him, "1 AM YAHWEH, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac.

You are lying on the very ground that I will give to you and your descendants.

God is saying I am going to give you!

Listen to Him!

God tell you a promise, take it!

God said, “I promise you I will take care of you and your future.”

GENESIS 28:14 TPT

They will become as numerous as the specks of dust on the earth, and they will extend their territory in all directions.

Through you and your descendants, I will bless the whole world.

We need to be very clear. What has been promised to us

GENESIS 28:15 TPT

Never forget—

• I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU and - will PROTECT you WHEREVER you go.

And one day I will BRING you BACK to THIS LAND,

• for I will neither leave you nor fail to fulfill EVERY WORD I have

PROMISED you."

Connection with the spirit

We are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty

We have the knowledge of God but we don’t know God

God promise you, just take it

There are Christians who want to know how to go through bad times without fear but with faith

God is pulling down idols

God is our Protector

No virus can touch me

Every virus that touches me, dies instantly in the name of Jesus!

Believe the promise and act on it

Your future are in My hands and they are good.

Take the Word of God. They are yours!

God will fulfil every Word

Our future blessings and usefulness depend on God's strength, not ours.

GOD will CHANGE YOU to the image of HIS SON to carry the blessings of God to the next generation.

Jacob represent our flesh

God will change you

Your transformation may take more than 1 year or 10-20 years

Your God will finish the work of changing you in the image of His Son

Sometimes the long nose God has to wait and wait for us to be changed

If we response faster; we don’t need to take so long

More souls will get saved

God’s word will never pass away

Emphasis is to give God’s Word to your children

We have a destiny to bring blessings to the next generation

GENESIS 28:16 TPT

When Jacob AWOKE from his dream, he was overcome with awe and said,

"YAHWEH is HERE!

HE is in THIS PLACE and I DIDN'T REALIZED IT!"

Have we realised God is here?

Realise!

God is so faithful

He is where we did not think He will be.

GENESIS 28:17 TPT

Terrified and overwhelmed, he said, "How AWESOME is this place!

I have stumbled right into the HOUSE of GOD!

This place is a portal, the very GATE of HEAVEN!"

Jesus is the gate to heaven

Go into the spirit. Hear the Word

Rule over your body and 5 senses

GENESIS 28:18 TPT

Early in the morning, Jacob took the STONE he had UNDER his head,

SET it up as a PILLAR and

ANOINTED it by POURING OIL over the top of it.

The STONE represents Christ today

Pour oil, signifies the anointed one

Jacob built a pillar from his pillow and poured oil on the stone

28:18 Jacob built a pillar from his pillow. The church is described by Paul as the

"pillar and firm foundation of the truth" (1 Tim. 3:15).

By pouring oil on the stone, Jacob consecrated the pillar as a memorial to God. See Lev. 8:10-11.

Anything natural you can see the spiritual in it

The church of Jesus Christ is supposed to have His presence

Spiritual eyes can see God

The people of God has come to natural realm

Descended

The anointing supposed to be there

People see God instead of their problems

The house of God filled with His presence

Beth -> represents the Son, Jesus

We can rest in peace. Not wait until die.

Eternal life start from the day we receive Jesus

The Pillow we sleep on, is Christ

Dwell as One with the Father

The one we think of is our spiritual family

Message of new life is Life in Christ

GENESIS 28:20-21 TPT

Then Jacob COMMITTED himself to GOD, saying,

"If you will always be with me and protect me on this long journey, and if you give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,

and if I return safely to my father's house, then Yahweh, you will be my God!

There is always a response

He loves us and wait for our response

How did Jacob show his commitment to God?

GENESIS 28:22 TPT

See!

I have set up this sacred STONE PILLAR and it will be YOUR HOUSE, GOD.

I PROMISE to SET ASIDE a TENTH of ALL that YOU give me as my gift to YOU."

He put God first by doing tithing

"Then Jacob awoke from his sleep."

In the end days the Jewish people will awake from their slumber and see the Rock on Whom they have been sleeping and resting their heads.

This Rock is Jesus/Yeshua.

The Hebrew word for "stone" - on which Jacob/Ya'akov laid his head - is quite literally made up of the Hebrew words for Father and Son.

If you ask a non-Messianic Jew what this fact means, they will usually say it represents GOD'S DESIRE for us to pass on the KNOWLEDGE of HIM from FATHER to SON.

This is also one of the reasons why the Jewish people lay a small stone on a grave.

It is a moving act of saying "Your memory will be passed down through the generations, we will not forget you."

Put a stone there is to remember the person who died

Knowledge of God pass down from generation to generation

ISAIAH 28:16 TPT

Here's what the Lord God says:

"Behold, I set in place in Zion a FOUNDATION STONE,

• FULLY TESTED and PROVEN to be FAITHFUL and SECURE.

And written upon this precious cornerstone is this:

'Those who TRUST in HIM will not act in haste.'

We trust in Him

What did Jacob see?

"And said, 'Surely the LORD is in this place and I did not know it." Jacob was in an area called Haran which means "Mountain Sanctuary" so he knew the LORD must have been there, with a name like that.

He had just 'SEEN' prophetically HEAVEN OPENED!

Will you rest your head on Christ, the Foundation Stone as your pillow?

And like Jacob, access through the Holy Spirit, God's heavenly realm that have been opened to you to establish His supernatural church on earth?

Will you like Jacob when he saw heaven open, make your commitment to Him?
